Watts Legionella Book Series — Marcom Awards, Gold Medal

The Challenge: After Legionnaires' disease was discovered at multiple facilities, Watts' Healthcare Vertical Market needed to educate facility managers, building owners, and the public on how Legionella spreads through water systems and how it can be mitigated.

My Approach: I worked with product engineers, specialists, and healthcare market SMEs to develop a three-book series — 6 Ways to Mitigate Legionella, Legionella Solutions for Your Healthcare Facility, and Legionella Solutions for Your Hotel Facility — using clean, clear graphics to explain the risks and solutions, and incorporating product photography throughout to create natural upsell opportunities.

The Result‍: The series won Gold Medal in the Marcom Awards and drove a 57% increase in lead generation for Plumbing & Flow Control Solutions. It was also paired with 8 CEU-accredited video learning modules, earning 172 completions with certification within the first year.

Watts Legionella Book Series — Marcom Awards, Gold Medal

My Approach: I designed the full report cover-to-cover, working with People's Health Solutions to create original graphics — blending stock illustrations with hand-drawn elements — that visually reinforced the content and reflected the communities the report was written for. I also built visual charts identifying the specific groups responsible for supporting the program and their roles within it.

The Challenge: A dense, multi-stakeholder policy report — covering sensitive subject matter like homelessness, health service gaps, and government coordination — needed a design that felt credible and approachable to City Council members, County officials, and the public alike, without minimizing the seriousness of the issue.

The Result‍: The report was presented to LA City Council and County leadership, directly informing policy and funding decisions around health service coordination for people experiencing homelessness. It was also highlighted publicly by United Way of Greater Los Angeles, and the City of LA recognized People's Health Solutions as a new partner and contributor to city-wide health and wellness policy as a result.

Watts Water Technologies WETEX Booth

The Challenge: Create a multi-brand walk-through trade show booth that felt welcoming and easy to navigate, while highlighting key products with information legible for a quick read.

My Approach: I designed the booth with Watts as the dominant brand, showcasing secondary brands AERCO and PVI alongside their key products. The layout gave visitors direct hands-on access to products, as well as the ability to have one-on-one conversations with product SMEs.

The Result‍: Over the two-day show, the booth generated 211 badge/card scans and 43 booked one-on-one SME conversations.
